center console replacement

I bought a "better" leather wrapped center console lid on ebay, and it's much nicer.

I can't figure out how to remove and replace the old one. Anyone seen a video or a how-to anywhere for this model?

Did you get a new one just for the looks? Mine just doesn't open and close correctly every time. Sometimes it gets stuck. Did you have the same problem?

do you need to do all of the things listed just to replace the lid?
my leather (or whatever material this is) is a bit cracked but all i need is the new top
how much labor charge is this swap?

I just had to push sides of the track in so I could flip the lid up. Then removed 4 screws to remove old one. Use same 4 to attach new one. Finally push track sides in to get new one on tracks
