Back seat dome lights stay on
I am visiting my mother-in-law. After we got to her house from the airport last night, I noticed a light on inside her car, a 2008 ES 350. It was two small round lights in the middle of the roof over the back seat. It is not the lights over the doors that are controlled by the buttons next to the coat hangers. Those go on and off by those buttons. It is not the lights at the bottom of the doors. Those go on when a door is opened and they go off after a minute or so.
I couldn't find any buttons or switches that made any difference. I looked through the owner's manual, but could not find anywhere that even mentions those lights.
Can anyone suggest how we can get them to turn off?
Thanks

Problem solved. This morning, with daylight, I was able to find the button on the control panel over the dash that controls those lights. The Owner's Manual is obtuse, in my opinion. Knowing the answer, it makes sense. I also found a statement saying that to prevent battery drain, all interior lights turn off automatically. Apparently, these lights do not qualify as "interior lights".
