I was running perfectly 15 min ago, I went in a store came out pushed the start button and the radio went on for a second then went off, the steering weel came up and brake pedal got stiff....

 

Hard to guess, but perhaps you tell us first what year, what mileage? Do you hear any noises from the engine bay (whining, clicking, etc.)? Tried to boost it? Tapped the starter? Any messages on the display? Error codes?

 

Was the issue resolved? 'Symptoms' are similar to when battery died on our 89 Corolla many moons ago. My wife went shopping somewhere and battery decided to die there.
