i did check the coolant and the level looked good
i am not a pro mechanic so if it was a little low and hard to tell or if it wasn't all in the bottle
either way

It is hard to miss the fluid level when you take the cap off and look into the tank. If the coolant level was as low as the dealer said then there is a bigger problem looming. Low fluid doesn't make the car run cooler. The internet is a wonderful thing so do a little more reading .
