Can car be locked while running??
I have. 2008 ES 350. Would like to leave car running with air on at times while I buy groceries. ( to keep dog cool). I haven't found a way to do this yet. Is it possible??

Maybe with the lexus personalized settings. You used to have to get changes made (unlock beeping noise, seat belt alarm, etc.) at the dealer but now you can use an app and a Bluetooth adapter connected to your car.

Not possible.

Either a remote starter, or just leave the fob in the car. I read somewhere on the forum that you get out of the car with the window down, while it's running, leaving the fob in the glove box. You'll need to remove the metal key to avoid being locked out. Reach in and lock the doors with the door switch. Now, close the window with the auto up feature of the window switch.
Not the safest way to leave your car running, but it should do the trick.

Idling your car for extended periods of time is bad for the engine. It's also a waste of gas and bad on the environment. Have you considered getting a solar powered fan instead?
