Well I just turned 33K on my 2010 OEM Bridgestones and I will be down to the wear bars in a few thousand more miles . So either I go with the Bridgestone Serenity's or go to the Michelin Premier A/S. My priorities are smooth and quiet. No winter driving and performance is not an issue. Pro's and con's of either?

Honestly, I'd go with the MXV4 over the Premier A/S.

Me too. MXV4 is a perfect tire.

Ultimately the final decisions is yours, but right now I wouldn't go with the A/S.

Premier does not hack it/ Primacy is best. Michelin flunked out.

I have read all the reviews carefully. Conclusion: Michelin Prmancy MXV4 is best tire ever made for Toyota/Lexus 3.5L V6 four door sedans. The Premier is a total bust. Too bad Primacy is no longer available in H rated that lasted me an easy 65,000 miles before down to 4/32".
Primacy V rated is standard OEM on 2015 ES350, Avalon XLE, & Camry XLE.
The Premier A/S does not hack it. Noisy ... lack of steering control. My local Discount tire says Premier is not so good and that they are tired of making good on the "30 day replacement warranty." [Read the reviews on tirerack carefully. ] Local Discount Tire recommends only the new Pirelli P7 which is quieter and now number one on tirerack.
But ............ there is nothing like the Primacy. The V rated may only be good for 50,000 miles for most people but it is quiet and has great traction.
As to the Pirelli P7, there is nothing like people giving tires a "10/10" rating on tirerack.com for treadwear when the tires are two weeks old.
Besides being unable to keep the car in a straight line ....... look at the ridiculous tread depth.of 8.5/32" inch for a 215/55/17 tire on the Premier .... vs H rated Primacy at 11/32." Nothing like having your $700 set of tires look and act worn out after six months.

Here is the summary of Bridgestone Serenity Plus:

I would never ever again in my life buy a BridgeCrap tire or a new car that came standard with them (without an appropriate discount). They are unsafe at any speed.

I started with the Premier A/S H-rated coming from oem Bridgestone Turanzas. My initial take was smooth and balanced but terribly noisy. I switched to a set of MXV4 V-rated (as the H-rated are no longer available) and they were terrible (maybe just a bad set). Once I got them properly balanced they still had terrible road wander. Really strong pull. Tiring to constantly have to correct on the same roads where my other cars and the Premiers had little or no trouble. To me, they felt harsher than the Premier and were not much more quiet.
After a month, I got fed up and switched back to the Premier A/S H-rated. To me, the Premier feels more planted and a bit softer. Less pull on roads. I've had no balance issues. I've gotten used to the different noise level and don't notice it as much, though they are loud on concrete and over certain imperfect asphalt roads. I feel they are getting better with wear. On long highway trips, I'm more aware of wind noise than the tires. Wet handling has been excellent. I only have 5,500 miles on them so I can't speak to long term. Tread still looks new so far, but again, only 5,500 miles.
They do transmit some road feel to the steering wheel, but it really isn't a lot when compared to a BMW or other cars with stiffer suspensions, bigger wheels and stiffer, lower profile tires.
I don't know what Paul3637 means when he says the Premier lack steering control. My car steers like it did before I switched tires and like every other 2007-2012 ES I test drove before buying it. I've had a couple emergency avoidance maneuver moments and the tires gripped well and went where I steered.
Now, the only issue I have had was on a long trip up and down I-95. Through the state of Georgia and brief stretches in North and South Carolina, the car would pull hard to one side and when I corrected the car would snap back across the lane like I'd jerked the steering wheel hard. I had to minimize my effort down to slow/gradual micro corrections to minimize the snap back, but it would still overreact and try to shoot across the lane and then back when I corrected back. Just constantly correcting back and forth. Those stretches were exhausting. The rest of the drive was smooth sailing. I can't say it was the tires alone as I'm sure the road was playing a part, but boy was it an experience.
I considered the Pirelli and a Yokohama someone else mentioned in my post last year https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...emier-a-s.html, but I've had terrible experiences with both of those brands on other cars. OEM Pirellis dry rotted in 2 years on a 2007 car garaged from new. Plus, from new, they spun out on wet and dry pavement (P6 model). Had similar issue with other Pirelli on older cars. I had traction, noise, flat spotting and ride issues when I tried Yokohama on my BMW.

I just replaced with a set of Michelin Premier A/S 215/55/R17 from Costco. I have couple hundred miles on them, so I am impress with quietness and stick to the ground. I feel like added couple horse powers on the car. Unlike my previous Falken ZEIX912 that slipery when rain and harsh on imperfection pavement.
