Just purchased a pair of 5000K D2S Osram Cool Blue Intense HID bulbs. Numerous people on threads were saying how the Lexus ES 350s' will only take D4S because it's mercury free and using D2S might melt/damage my headlights.

Should I even bother installing these bulbs or should I get a return?

Thanks, any suggestions would be great.

the way i feel about it is since i have no experience
and if i was only able to find info about how a bulb might belt or cause damage id probably not use that bulb
just my opinion id go with the one that is supposed to be in the car
