Trunk space
Hi Folks,
It's been a while since I was here.
Will my trunk be able to fit/transport a piece of drywall that measures 8' x 3' ?
TIA

Of course the 8' part would need to be sticking out of the trunk.
I was thinking about the 3' part.
I know there is a part of the back seat that folds down, opening a hole to the trunk.
Is it just a few inches hole or does a bigger section also open up?
Would it be possible to tie in this 8'x3' somehow to transport a short distance?

I'm betting you'll not fit an 8'x3' into the small passthrough hole. It doesn't open up any more than the space when opened; seats don't fold etc. There is bracing behind the seat that can't just be removed and then placed back in - as opposed to some Camry seats that fold all the way down with no bracing behind them.

I fit an 8 foot piece of PVC pipe in the car. The 4" diameter pipe was able to fit through the passthrough. You will not get that drywall into the car.
Is 8x3 standard drywall size?

Ah yes... thanks for the memories!
I used to have a Camry for years and that's what I recall, the back seat folding down.
That's what I was hoping with my Lexus, but I guess not.
