The navigation screen of my 2010 es 350 does not change to night mode while driving at night. It's so bright that I have to turn the screen off. Anyone here know how to change the screen to night mode? Or any hints why it is not change? How to fix it?

Gauge brightness too high.Back it down with the dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel a little until you hear a little click and it should solve your problem..

 

You must have the instrument panel light switch selected to fully bright (up). That disables the day to night function of the Nav screen. Move it down (less bright) just a tad. This is all explained in the Navigation Manual under "Basic Functions.....changing between day mode and night mode".
