Default ES350 Seat causing backpain.

It seems that the seat is giving me some heavy back pain if i drive more than 30 minutes on it. I've had another ES350 for two weeks before buying this one and had no issues with it. So i think it is a seat adjustment issue? But i cant seem to find a setting that would not give me problems....

anyone have a similiar issue or opinion on how i should adjust the seat? I believe i read somewhere here that someone else was suffering from severe back pain caused by the seating.

I'm having issues with the seat, but not with back pain, but with butt pain. After only 1 year of ownership, there is nothing left of the driver seat butt cushion. It has become so soft and mushy, I can feel the mechanism and bars under the seat. I've had to resort to putting a towel under my butt, which helps a little, but its still uncomfortable. I'm totally dissatisfied with the quality and wear of the seat cushions on the ES350. This is completely unacceptable for a 1 year old car and Lexus doesn't stand by their product when I bring it up to them. When your paying this kind of money on a car, the seats should be top notch and wear better than this. Shame on Lexus!

Was this a brand new car or used?

use the controls to readjust the seat during long trips this will change the pressure points on your back and aleviate pain also, if lumbar is to stiff you can get pain so back off on that too.

We were with a group of MotorHome friends that tow cars behind their MHs. One had a new 2012 Jeep Cherokee and it had a really nice 4-way lumbar support. The lumbar, of course, went in and out but it also went up and down about 4 to 5 inches. It was really nice.

This same Jeep had VERY hard seat cushions for where you sit like the European high performance cars do.

Both of us LOVED the lumbar support and HATED the HARD seat bottom cushions for your derrière..

Because of the uncomfortable seats in our ES350 we drive our Acura MDX MOST of the time around town and ALL the time on longer trips.

Moving the power seats around doesn't change the fact that the cushion is so mushy/depressed it provides no more support to the butt when you sit in it. That is why I need to put a towel under may *** to provide the support/cushioning the seat no longer provides.
