Default Pulled The Trigger On A 2011 Truffle Mica

I just got back from Park Place Lexus in Plano and bought my 4th ES and my 5th Lexus since 1994. Settled on a 2011 Truffle Mica with parchment leather. We pick her up on Monday!

you will love it. Out of everything, I really like the USB port to handle music. Just load up a thumb drive, plug it in the console port and you can have all the music (between radio and satellite radio) you will ever need. And the sound is the best from the USB.

She's a beauty! I really like the parchment with that color. I have the gray interior and ended up changing out to black mats. I was cleaning the gray ones monthly. The black ones rarely! And they go great with the trim.

Mine is Smokey Granite Mica. Is this the same color, just new name?

Side-by-side the Truffle looks almost exactly like the Smokey Granite, but it is a slightly different color. The Granite has a gray tint while the Truffle has a brown tint. You have to see them sitting net to each other to even tell the difference. Smokey Granite was our first choice, but they did not have one on the lot with the light gray interior, only black. So, when we looked at the Truffle Mica, it was a no-brainer. We LOVE the parchment interior. I just installed the dark brown LEXUS rubber floor mats and like the look better than the light tan mats.

Oh yeah! I can see the brownish tint now.

One word of advise...get a clear bra installed right away if you don't have one now. If you drive on the interstate much, you will be glad you did.

The paint on my '07 is rediculously soft!

I have the kit ordered and plan on doing it myself. Yikes! I will try to video the process. May God be with me....

Default Test drive

Test drove '11 ES 350 w/ navi. in central NJ, just finalized deal today over phone. I'll be picking it up on Monday. Obsidian w/Parchment. 1 st. time Lexus owner. Always had luxury SUV's. With this early snow storm I'm hoping I didn't make a big mistake.

Welcome to the Lexus family. I think you will be pleased with your decision. I am on my 4th ES since 1994 and my 5th Lexus. They are very nice cars and bulletproof. Good service too, at least here in Dallas.

Congrats on the new car. Drive carefully! Hopefully the streets and roads will be cleared by Monday.
