ES350 vs TSX ?
Hello guys.
My mother is planning to buy a car, so came here to ES forums to take a look. I drive 2006 IS350 and i am happy with it so far.
Looks like there are a lot of TSIBs on ES350s. Overall are you guys happy with the car? Pros and cons?
She is kinda undecided between 2008 ES350 and 2009 TSX with about 40-50k on the clock.

I think she would be happy with a ES350, just make sure it has the Lexus Extended Warranty. I just traded in my 2007 Ultra with 54,000 miles. No problems, just a good deal on a leftover 2011 was the motivation.

The TSX is a nice car, but not really something I'd compare an ES with.
The TSX has a much firmer ride and not nearly as quiet. The 6-cylinder in the ES is much more responsive, not to mention smoother than the 4-cylinder in the TSX.
Obviously, the ES has a much larger interior as well.
As far as reliability - a friend of mine has a first year TSX w/ the 6-speed (original owner) and I want to say it's only been in for a faulty radio display (non-Nav) that was covered under warranty. Other money he's put into it was for shocks and brakes - normal wear and tear items. I'm pretty sure it has over 100k on the clock..
