ES 350 Transmission
I just purchased a 07 ES350 lexus and I hear this years model or certain dates of manufacture have problems with the transmission ? Any additional info will be of great help and how do I find out the manufacture date of my car ? Thanks
There is a plate on the lower right side of the driver's front door. It contains the VIN and a lot of info on the vehicle. On the top line of that plate on the far right is the build date (month and Year) for your car.

Mine was a 6/2006 build bought in 7/2006. My tranny went south and was replaced at around 19k miles (car was about 1.5 years old)
Currently have around 46.5k miles. Been alright so far.
Powertrain warranty is 6yr/70k... but hope I don't need to use it.
