Search Dealer Inventory
I bought a CPO back in November. I paid about a $3k premium at the time to buy a CPO car. However, the car is not up to MY CPO standards. There were still scratches in the paint, dent in the trunk, little cut on the steering wheel leather and the console cover. I really didn't notice them until after I had driven home and then another a few weeks later and another when vacuuming out the car. My dealer says they will take care of me when I bring it in for the first free oil change.
Fast forward to today. Nobody is buying a Toyota product due to the recall. I've been watching the used market and prices are down another $2-3k from November. I saw a sweet deal on a 2007 GS 350 even.
The CPO checklist is available at Lexus' web site. If you hesitate buying a non-dealer checked out car then print it off and take the car and the checklist to a mechanic. The mechanic will probably even add some more stuff to check. This will probably cost you a couple hundred bucks but would be the same CPO check and probably save you a couple of thousand.
I'd suggest detailing the car yourself before buying. You'll notice so much when you are vacuuming and washing. There are even scratches on my back windshield. They probably wouldn't be a deal breaker for me but I would have used it as a negotiating tactic.
With all that said I blame myself for my slight case of buyer's remorse. Then I drive my ES 350 around the block and wonder what was wrong.

To answer your question though:
1. Go here: http://www.lexus.com/cpo/index.html
2. Under "Find Your Vehicle Search by:" click on the State tab.
3. Choose the great state of TX.
4. Choose your model, i.e. ES.
5. Click search.
This will bring up every ES model in TX. Click on Refine Search to limit the year, mileage, and amount. Then you can sort by Year, Model, Price, Mileage, Exterior Color. Just look at the location.
