Default ES350 and stealing ?

Being a victim once, i didn't look into this car. Is this car a target ?

Luckily, my last car got retrived quickly, but with this, it could be more difficult i guess. Question arose about the replacement warranty.

What are your experiences ?

I too had one stolen years ago. 86 Acura Legend, recovered it, in like 2 weeks and only has about $7K or $8K of damage done to it. I know that Hondas usually are up there on the lists of stolen cars, I but I don't remember ever seeing any Lexuses.

Could be because most Lexuses are garaged! Only the Shadow knows.

Just wanted to know how Lexus are ranking in that department, ES is not typical of performance cars so i may think i'm save there. If that's the case, no replacement warranty for me.

It would have the same aura to car thieves as a Buick Century / Buick Park Avenue has. Not that I am demeaning the car but joy riders want something a little more exciting.

Most stolen cars are taken apart and components are then sold to shady independent mechanics to be used as replacements. Therefore, high volume cars like Civics, Accords and Corollas are most stolen. Most late model Lexus owners would not go to some "Acme Towing and Garage" to get their cars worked on, therefore the black market for Lexus parts is not so lucrative.
Some cars like Lincolns or Cadillacs are valued south of the border. These may be simply smuggled intact out of the country.
Joyriders prefer older domestics with unsophisticated security systems, they can be easily broken into and started. They may want to take a BMW for a spin, but I'm not sure how easily that can be done.

kind of hard to steal these with the push button and FOB technology. It can be done, but can be a big barrier and deterent for most thieves. Lexus.

I am most satisfied with all the answers which make perfect sense to me, so i can rest in peace. I would be so sad to lose this car. I was lucky to have the armor bonus in this car thought.
