Lightbulb 2010 ES350 Pricing

Over the weekend I went with my dad's neighbor car shopping. She's coming out of an '07 ES so she wanted to see the '10 model. MSRP was 41,126 Dealer Invoice $37,287 Car was pretty loaded up: NAV, Full Sized Spare, HID, Preferred Accessory 2, Heated/ventilated seats, Wood/leather steering wheel/shift ***, Intuitive Parking Assist and Power rear sunshade.

After haggling for about an hour, we wound up with $1,384 over invoice plus tax/tag. She didn't sign on the dotted line yet. We're going to shop the price at another local dealer to see if they'll beat this price.

Just wanted to put a baseline out there for 2010 shoppers.

That sounds like a good deal, IMO. My bf's dad bought his with similar options for $43,000OTD but that included a few other add ons like clear bra and tire warranty.

Default Es 350, 2010

From Lexus web site, I have the followings:
Base: $34,800
Delivery: $875.
Options: $5165 (there are only 2 options, the other cost $1885)

Total $40,840 MSRP

I communicated with via the internet with the only dealer in Knoxville, TN and got a quote of $39,500.
I still think this is a bit in the high side but not exactly sure. I am looking somewhere else now for comparison.

Many people used to say pay about 90% of MSRP, which gives $36,700.
Any feedback is appreciated…..

I picked up a '10 tungsten pearl with black gut with the exact same list price for $38500 with added dealer installed side mouldings. You should be able to get a $1K off.
Not a great deal but not a bad one considering the ES 350
s are just coming in.

If you can wait just a few weeks, prices on the 2010 should come down. They are always highest when a new model first comes out.

For 2010 it's just a cosmetic refresh so demand shouldn't be much higher than on the '09's.

Yes, I can wait a month or so but probably not more than that. Our purchase will be at the end of Nov or in the first week of Dec, but again things can change!

Lexus pulls the 'December to Remember' which puts some incentives like low financing on Lexus vehicles.

The "December to Remember" sale usually starts about mid-November, so it should fit your timing.

Bought the 2010 ES 350 today. Sticker was $38165 w/options and I paid $35520. Not a super great deal, but I'm happy. Local dealer wanted another sale before the end of month. Trying again now might be a good idea. Glad to be a Lexus owner finally.

Congrats on your purchase... May I ask what options you chose. From the Lexus web-site there are only 2 options, one costs about $2k and the other $5k. If you have the latter, I think you got a good deal...

This is what is on mine:

Base price 34800
Full size spare 205
Heated/Ventilated seats 640
Power rear sunshade 210
Intuitive parking assist 500
Wood/Lthr steering whl 330
Pref accessory pkg 286
Rear lip spoiler 319

Total Options 2490
Delivery 875

Total 38165

Like I said, not a super great deal but good enough for me since they just hit the street.

Don't think you're going to get 10% off on these right now. But then again, you never know. You'll never get it unless you ask for it. Good luck.

I agree.
10% off is about $80 over invoice on a $40840 sticker.
Kind of early for that but you can try.

Very nice car.
That's about $2K discount and about $3K over invoice.
