Default Bad Chrome Moulding Alignment

Just got an '09' ES350 on 07/27/09. Beautiful car. Noticed that drivers side chrome window moulding between front and rear doors do not align with each other. Dealer insists that is within Lexus specs and will not do anything about it. Does anyone else have this same moulding alignment problem with their ES350?

Never heard of a complaint about the chrome molding alignment along the windows. Were there any repairs done to that side? Can you post some pics??

Default ES 350 not soft anymore ????

I just got same car on 08/15/2009
Smoky Granite Mica
Black perforated Leather
Nav, HID
17-inch, 10-spoke, Graphite-polished wheels 215/55 R17

On my car molding looks okay, send me a picture NYxray Yahoo.com I will compare.

I have another problem, my car is not soft at all, I feel any smallest bump on the road.
When I took a drive test on ES-350 it was unbelievable soft driving. Now absolutely
different.
What do you think , may be because Ultra-luxury different suspension, wheels or something else.

I took a look at my 2009 and could not find any alignment problems. It's a stretch, but one could find a slight variation but to me it's not obvious.

You might check the pressure in the tires. When I got my car the ride didn't feel right and when I checked the tires, they were all at 40+ psi vs. the recommended 32 psi. Correcting them solved the problem. Tires are over inflated for shipment to the U.S. and should be corrected prior to delivery.

Good answer from LexBob, the suspension is the same for the Base and UL.

It looks like your door is not flush when closed.

My right rear panel and truck were not flush when I bought mine 3 years ago. The dealer was able to make some kind of an adjustment and it is better. If the dealer does not cooperate, speak to the service manager. If he/she is no help, call Lexus customer service.

This is actually normal. If you take a close look, you will notice that the back door molding actually sits on a rubber gasket/seal while the front does not.

WOW. Mine lines up perfectly. Go to the Lexus dealer and show him the ES350s on his lot and compare their moldings to yours.
