My first ride in an ES
2IS member checking in.
Yesterday i had my first ride in an ES taxi, i was sitting in the back, so i cant really comment on the driving aspect of the car, but as a chaueffered car? all i can say is WOW.
Maybe my impressions were so low to begin with, but man is this car comfortable. I used to bag ont he ES as an over glorified camry, and I would never recommend anyone to buy. Id always tell them to save their money and get a camry or even an avalon.
The leather and cushioning on the ES, is much more comfortable than the IS, and maybe even the GS(?). Now i know why you guys bought. Lexus rules.
Personnaly i still wouldnt buy it (the front wheel drive kills me) but i have a new found respect for this car.

That's nice that you have a new found respect for the ES. Yes, it's a good car in it's own right. Lexus does sell a ton of them. The ES has outlived the Infiniti I. The ES can only get better, hopefully a hybrid version comes here soon...
haha just had to share my story, no one out of CL gives a hoot. Could have done a better job on the review part i guess lol
And man are those things comfortable, an ES hybrid will b awesome, comfortable as well as silent and fuel efficient.
