I agree. I don't prefer any particular brand. When needed, which isn't very often, I buy a brand name.

cool thank you guys for the impute here i like that i hear the Michelins contour to the windshield better than the OEM

not a winter guy anymore so don't have to worry about switching over or finding a blade thats winter just a good all season incase i do take a trip up north is nice
but main thing is that it huggs the windshield when it should and needs to with not gaps in air space

thank you

I just put RainX blades on myself. Took about 5 minutes. Love them. I think they were like $30 at Pep Boys.

I ended up deciding to going with the Michelin Steath Wiper blades found them on amazon for 12.00 for the 19inch and 14 for the 24 inch

they where a few dollars cheaper then the Icon's

i thought about the Bosch evolution but the reviews i read where not so great

i wanted a change from rain-x allthought they would have been cheaper then the michenlin ill wrigth back after a week or 2 to update on how these are

dude....$54 for A blade?!?!

did they take you out to dinner first?

I replaced both blade assemblies a couple weeks back with Bosch Icons for less than that.

That was for the LEXUS service repair of the arm and new blade. I did have a few coffees and cookies in their luxury customer waiting / showroom area though.

Yes it was exactly that dealership. I held onto my wallet in my back pocket with my hand best I could. But, we are from Wilkes Barre, PA and I needed the wipers to work. Which they did for a few months. My local garage guy roughed up the holding apparatus so that the nut would stay on. Stayed on for years until I traded the car in on 10/11.

About three hours into it, the drivers side wiper started to hit the far side and then it folded over the side, getting stuck. I pulled over, loosened it and turned the wipers back on. Big mistake. The driver side did not work but the passnger side did and got crossed up with the right side. The blade was damaged, so I drove to the next stop, opened the hood and tightened the hold down nut on the arm. No go. So,we drove to Cleveland for 2 hours without wiper action. Got up Friday morning, went over to the Metro Lexus and they were super nice. Took me right in, replaced the drivers side complete wiper blade and the rubber on the passenger side blade. Wipers work great but I was taken back on the cost of the drivers side 24" blade - $54.70. WOW!! This is just the blade, not the arm. But... it is fixed and works great. Wonder what a Camry blade goes for...
1- I swear by RainX, might have helped without blades.

2- Wasn't there just a recall on the wiper arms? You might want to check

It might have been on the IS, but it was recent and certainly doesn't hurt to ask
