Default Somewhat impressed

I was impressed with my recent trip last week and the avg. mileage. I usually don't make my car selections based on MPG so this one came in as an extra. We did a total 466 mile trip mostly on interstate highways. Funny that the trip was just about 233 miles each way. We didn't use the car after we arrived. The mileage both ways was 31.6 at an avg. overall speed of 62 MPH. All of the highway driving was at 80MPH and the half of the trip I drove it was with CC. My wife likes to work the throttle and doesn't like CC. Ride was great both smooth and quiet. Nice cruiser and I still only have 12,500 miles on it . 2008 ES350.

I was impressed with the MPG too! I go to LA once a month and I usually get 28-29MPG driving 85 for about 250 miles.

I have averaged 23-24 mpg in mixed driving in the Philadelphia area over a period of one year with an 07. Running on regular.

I average around 9.5 L/100 km. Yeah go figure that one out. OK, it means a little under 25 mpg. Mixed driving and run premium.

On a recent 700km roundtrip, I averaged 8.6L/100km (27.35 US mpg) with this car ... A/C on, ventilated seats on. Engine has not been fully broken in (not yet reached 1000km on the odometer) so I expect this car to perform even better in the not-too-distant future!
