Default Trunk is not aligned properly!!

I just realized yesterday that my trunk is not aligned properly on my new 08' ES350

There is at least 1mm difference on the left groove lining... Is this something that I should be really worried about ?? I am also concerned if the folks down at the dealership will not make it wose if I make a official complaint...

The good news is, I am not seeing any water leaks but it does looks weird when you are closely watching the rear of the car..

Anybody else with this issue???

And how often do you do this? Sorry, had to ask.

Seriously though, 1mm. Hmmm... I'm curious. Post a pic.

This happened to me. My trunk (on the right) was raised and not flush with the right rear fender on the top lid of the trunk. It was worse than 1mm. I took the car into the dealer and they realigned it. It is not perfect, but much better than what it was. This was done when the car was new.

This is something that the dealer did not argue with me about, and fixed it with no hassle. So, take it in to service and get it fixed.

Oh, and I don't think the body shop did it...the regular service dept. did the repair.

Just looked at my new '09, and I have the same thing on the left side. I hope it's an easy fix.

Just took a look at my 09 and upon 'very close' inspection, all looks great. Not sure how one could see a 1mm difference without measuring it, but if this a concern I would take it to the dealer and let them make the fix. I would like to see a pic also. Thanks
