First determine if you really need struts as they should still be good at only 100,000 miles. See if they are leaking or fail the push test etc. How does it drive? How is your tire air pressure?

This has been discussed endlessly, There are only a few available brands. are you going to buy them and have a shop install them? It is not something that is easy to do as it requires lots of tools, and knowledge and compressing the spring is very dangerous. There are quick struts that come with the spring mounted, but they are often of lower quality. Again search and read and learn from others.

Use the search feature (box on right side of main page) and enter the word struts.

If you ask me, Kyb Excel G.

You do not need to replace them if they are not leaking.

I went with monroe all in one strut and the rear went bad in 3 years. They are covered under a five year warranty so I got them replaced for free but had to pay labor to get them installed. I paid a mechanic off craigslist to install tjhem for me for $160 total.

My car also has over 200k miles so I'm not planning on keeping it much longer. If I had 100k miles, I would put OEM quality struts. The Monroe's are not bad- they just don't last as long

I have 130k (2010 Es350) with no leaks. Will only change if one leaks then I will change in pairs. I used to have an ES300 1997 I changed with Monroe from NAPA without any issue.

Yep, otherwise one side of your car will be higher because the strut is new which will screw up your tracking and suspension further.

Change in pairs always.
