I have a 2011 ES 350 with both high beam head lights out. Fuses look good. Since both went I am thinking it is a relay(s). So please someone tell me where the relays for high beam head lights are located. I have looked in the owners manual and googled with no success. I am sure it must have these relays??? Thanks for any help.

The relay is under to hood, driver side fuse box.

Do you hear any click when you turn on the high beam?
Does the blue light come on?
Do you see any changes if you flash high beam?

Hello thank you for your reply,

I guess you mean does the steam click when you movie forward for high beams: yes there is a little resistance and then it clicks when moved as normal

The blue light will work as before but there is nothing from the high beams

When the stem is pulled back for passing flash the HID lights are lit but nothing from the high beams. Also you get a blue high beam light and a little green light bulb on the instrument cluster as when the lights are on.

Which of the relays is the one for the high beam headlights?

One more queation, what about DRL? Do they work?

Thanks for the diagram. I checked these fuses. They are OK. I even tried swapping in the spare one in the fuse box cover to make sure. Nothing new happened. So none of those relays in the fuse box is associated with the headlights? Maybe it doesn't have one? I guess I will buy a new bulb and try it in each side. I guess that will tell me something. I have had some flickering of the headlights prior to these going out. It occurred for a long time. I do not see any breaks in the wiring leading to the lights.

Oh I missed the question about DRL. I went into setup and turned those off when I got the car 5 years ago. So I guess I can turn that back on and then answer your question.

Thanks again.

OK, so I reenabled them and then started the car but no headlights were on. I assume they would work even if the car is parked and at idle. What clue does this situation give?

Thanks.

They come on as soon as you start the engine but only if the parking brake is disengaged.
I assume your PB was dissengaged so:

Burned bulbs
or
light control

OK well I'll buy a bulb this afternoon and just unplug a light and plug in the bulb. Should come on if other stuff is OK I imagine.

Thanks.
