Default ac low pressure switch

Where is the ac low pressure switch located on my 1996 es300.

Hello,

It is located on the front, right between condenser and the bumper, on the Drier unit.

Why do you need to access it? They are really tough, never break.

My ac comes on for a second then shuts off, checked speed sensor, control module, relay etc, compressor is working. Hunting problem, low pressure switch is fine, so I am still looking.

Does your AC light flash when it comes off?
How did you check the speed sensor on the compressor?

Here is a thread on how to access a Diagnostics mode for an AC system, see if there is anything stored there. Here is a similar thread on how to diagnose a speed, or compressor lockup sensor, it may have some useful information as well.

My 1996 does not have an auto button, so does the 96 even have codes to pull up?

There should be a button inside the temperature dial, below is the picture.
