Engine swap
I I pretty much figured that how about do you know what other motors or engines I can swap into my 2001 Lexus ES300 I can get a Lexus ES330 motor / engine pretty cheap chinos that one would fit or if there's somewhere online that will tell me what engines are compatible to swap thank you so very much I just really am at a loss and don't know where to turn thank you for your help
I've seen people on other Toyotanation and CL threads swap in 3mz and 2mz engines, into 1mz cars. The only thing that seems to be a deal breaker is vvt-i. Check eBay or Craigslist for JDM distributors. That seems to be the way to go. That way you get a factory (most likely unaltered) EXTREMELY low milage engine. If you buy locally (or anywhere in the U.S.) they will most likely have over 200k miles.

I do not think that you realize what you are asking.
By the time that you have modified the engine bay, modified the new engine mounts to allow the new engine to be set into the car....modified the connection in order to allow the existing transmission to mount onto the new engine...or also replaced the transmission, did the modifications to allow the computer and all the other gear to communicate....you could have more than paid for a new engine.
I am guessing this is not something that you were planning on doing yourself.
Instead of trying to go down this path, why not see if you can locate a good engine out of a wrecked car that is the same engine which you have now and have the mechanic install that. He may even be able to source the used engine for you...possibly one with low miles.
Salvage yards tend to network and they may be able to put you onto an engine if they do not have one.
