Power locks not locking. Newer to me 98 es300, door locks will unlock with the driver switch and passenger switch but will not lock at all with either switch. Non of the doors will lock with the press of the button. What would cause this problem? I have searched on and off. But was hoping to get a direct answer or some knowledge on how the locking system works. Another weird thing that happens is if you unlock with the key on the passenger side you can unlock all doors with a double click but will no lock at all. Does NOTHING on the drivers side.

Do the doors lock when using the key fob? Or never.

 

I don't have a fob. Honestly last night I ordered one from Ebay. I have already changed the driver side power window, door lock switch.

 

Bendy section of the wires going into the door could be broken.
