Default 2002 ES300 Fuel filter replacement

Hello, i have 2002 es300 with219k on it, i was wondering if anyone has replaced their fuel filter? i'm having hard time finding fuel filter, i see some sites list a strainer as fuel filter, and some sites list a white plastic fuel filter, confusing. please help.

The filter is in the gas tank as part of the pump not something that normally needs to be replaced. The engine bay fuel filter has been done away with.

I worked at Lexus Toyota, we never changed them out. Yes you are correct it’s not a filter just a strainer, if you have a slight tranny pan leak then I would take pan off and at least clean and look at magnets. Only do a drain and refill from lose at pan. Do not do a full tranny flush. Was there 15 yrs. Lexus and Toyota’s are Amazing, I’ve worked other car lines and they are very impressive. Should be type 4 fluid.

Curious how did the answer to the question end up about the Transmission? Please clarify

the guy before me posted about the tranny.
but I still mentioned that the fuel filter never is changed. It’s basically metal in the inside not a paper fabric what you typically see inside fuel filters
sorry for confusion. Lol
