Default engine bracket clean up

I'm replacing the upper mount on my 2002 ES300. Since I'm pulling it, can I pull what looks like engine hangers, brackets, and clean and paint?

They would look great repainted

Consider detailing your engine bay first.

Hello,

If you are removing the mount, what could prevent you from painting the bracket...? If you are willing to wait until the paint cures, go ahead and do it then..

I think the OP is worried the brackets are holding the engine in place. Just as others have answered, you can safely remove them and repaint them. The engine will stay where it is.
