Default Adding ?a inline ATF Filter

Has anyone added an inline transmission fluid filter such as a Magnafine? If so, where would be the best attachment point. I just picked up my 2016 ES350 yesterday. I have used them in the past and was surprised what got trapped inside after 30K miles.

There is a magnet inside the transmission already - I do not think adding another one with be of much value.

The transmission has a filter that catches this debris as well as 2 magnets in the transmission pan.

I would be concerned about flow restriction if you could even find a place to install it. Not much line between the trans and cooler.

Agree on the additional pressure drop on an inline filter. Drain and fill would be a better strategy in protecting your tranny.

All good responses. I will refrain from using it and stick to the proper drain and fill. At least Lexus has a good track record for their tranny vs Acura. I change my RDX fluid every 25K. It's super easy since the drain plug and fill are accessible without removing anything.
