Wet Floors
Yup, it was the A/C condensation tube - it had pulled up through the floor and was dropping all that condensation into the cabin. I hit it pretty hard with the wet vac, pulled about a gallon of water out of there. Not gonna bother with removing the carpet, etc.
Had it happen to my '03 Camry... same thing. No idea how it happened (don't even know if it's possible to accidentally kick that tube and pull it out); but I had to pull back the carpet on passenger side upper firewall edge to find it. A pretty easy fix and when someone has this issue (suddenly soaked carpet on the front/passenger side), I'd suggest checking this drain line before getting into the whole dealer "sunroof drain, sunroof seal" debate. Might save yourself a ton of money if you're off warrantee. In any case you'll need to pull that carpet back to dry it out anyway (regardless of the source of the water) so why not check that drain first? If you go under the car you "might" see the hole where the drain line pokes through, although the Lexus has a whole heap of stuff under there that might block your view that an older Camry doesn't have.
Given its position, I kinda doubt the tube could be kicked out. My guess, over the years, just bumps, vibrations, etc, - work to pull the tube back into the cabin. There's only about an inch excess to push through the hole.
Definitely, if there are wet floors on the passenger side, the first check is the condensation line.
