2000 ES 300

This car has been bulletproof for me@190k miles now. All of sudden I'm getting misfires and all of these codes and it will rarely go into gear, if it does you can drive about ten feet in either one of the gears before it stops.


P0305 - Powertrain

Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected

P0330 - Powertain

Knock Sensor 2 Circuit (Bank 2)

P1130 - Powertrain

P0503 -Powertrain

Vehicle Speed Sensor:Intermittent /Erratic/High

P0128 -Powertrain

Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperatur Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)

Currently looking for another vehicle. Would be interesting to hear opinions on what might be the problem?

 

That's a lot of codes the misfires could be caused by bad VVT oil control valves, worn plugs, bad coils, vacuum leaks. Knock sensor is probably like it sounds knock sensor not working. I'd replace the thermostat first and go from there. Also have the battery and alternator load tested.
