Default 2013 es-300h locking issues

I run a small sedan service and among the cars I own is a 2014 and 2015 ES 300 H, the most trouble free cars I’ve ever owned. Just recently I purchased a 2013 ES 300 H and the doors are not locking properly and is becoming a major pain. Everything seemed to work fine when I first bought the car but then I noticed one rear door wouldn’t lock periodically and then later it would. Then the other doors started acting up from time to time and a few
times the driver door would not unlock. To add to the matter, the manual key for the door will not unlock it either. So far I’ve been lucky because at least one or more of the other doors with remained unlocked and I have been able to Get in the car. How do I resolve this problem? Is it a just a matter of having the key fobs reprogrammed? And is there a way to bypass the automatic door locks altogether?

I believe you are having an issue with the door lock actuators. There have been a few threads on this issue. The motors inside the actuator go bad and stop the door from lock/unlocking. Its a DIY job and you can get the actuators on ebay cheap. I know on some actuators you can just buy the DC motor for $5 and replace that instead of the whole assembly. As for the manual key not unlocking the door, that is probably a separate issue. Does the manual key unlock the drivers door, or are you saying the manual key does not unlock all the doors?
