Here you can see how I was trying to put old foam gasket on the new speaker.,to get less loses in sound.
Final installation in rear doors.
Perfect...super tight fit.
This the part numbers of adapters for front speakers.
Picture of oem speaker in front door ,waiting to be removed .
Pink Floyd was ok ,almost like on live concert until rear speakers popped up.all tweeter's just burnt out .I was so pissed off.
Here is sets I was working with in order to get best sound of rear door speakers
All of them failed.only JBL was best.
JBL was 3.4 ohm resistance ,but still didn't blue up as others. So now I went to buy front 6x9 JBL and finish project. Beside that I did some extra work for better soundproof ing.
Jbl 6 1/2 inch speaker in original adapter with harness from amazon ,great fit ,no foam gasket needed in my case.
Back view
This left over material was used to get a bit better sound.i didn't have a lot of it so I just used small pieces.
One small piece inside door ,speaker cavity.
The rest of them just used random location on the doors.
6x9 front speaker JBL installed.
Aluminum duckt tape used to close rest of gaps
Connector secured with tape.
It was very tight fit .I did cut 2 bracket to fit in .
Center speaker only closeup.

outstanding sound.,it is very close to my gs450h with Mark l. Sound.
I am very happy now.
PS.
Still could be more bass.
So next project will b woofer upgrade.
Cheers.
Couple days ago I got Infiniti 4022 4 inch ,3 ohm,speakers.
i have to admit, those set sounds much better than pioneer.
Here is both ,just to compare it. Front view.
Back view.looked the size of magnet on infinity....
Some specs of infinity speakers.
Pioneer out and infinity in.
Here is showing how to bend a bit brackets in order to make perfect fit.
Put protective screen back ,and I have to tell you now all system is better or even with Mark Levi.... Still waiting for the woofer solution....work in progress.
every single one of them working great
torture test was done several times and all pass
i was preoccupied with other things so i didnt upgrade sound with subwoofers.
i was thinking to add JL box with amp build in it but it was out of my price range.
i was getting qoute $700 without fuse 60 Amp and fuse box and without 4 or 6 AWG for POWER and GROUND.
So slowly i gave up on sub.
sorry i hope some of younger guys here will post some ideas how to upgrade sound system in ES 300h and excised my MOD .
Cheers

I added a JBL BassPro12 Powered Subwoofer to my '17 ES350 today. It is DEFINITELY more than enough and more than what I expected. It costed me $219.
I spliced into the factory subwoofer as this sub has high level inputs. I wired the power wire through a rubber grommet in the driver side footwell and through the inner scuff plates through the backing of the rear seat. I did not need to remove any rear seats or anything.
I'm finally happy with the audio in my ES350. I'm a youngin, but I never wanted brain rattling bass, just something to add to the low end. I keep the bass **** at around 30-40% and that is more than enough for me.
I replaced the front dashboard speakers with Infinity Reference 4032cfx speakers. The front door speakers were replaced with Infinity Reference 9633ix. The rear door speakers were replaced with 6532ex. I guess I can say that my car now has an Infinity sound system? (JBL and Infinity are owned by Harman)
If anyone has any questions about any of the installs, let me know! I will be more than happy to provide any help or information on what to do. This post has been insanely helpful and the numerous other posts on the forums.
