For those of you who have HIDs in your 92-96 ES. where did you guys mount your HID ballasts?

 

anyone? egainer? xenonES3?

 

right side is ty strapped to the abs modualtor
and teh left side just sits beside the battery

 

My ballast isnt actually mounted. It has been pressed down between the battery and the back of the headlight. does not move. On the other side it is pressed between 2 things, cant remember what they are. But there is a space about an inch or so wide that is perfect to slide it into... right behind the low beam of the passenger headlight

 

I just finish my 93ES HID. I mounted them right under the headlight. Drill two small holes and tiewrap them on what seem to be frame.

 

just finished mine too, will post pics too... I mounted them under the headlight too...

 

BTW, my is OEM of Lexus (IS300, if I am correct). They are very thin (less than 1") so very easy to mount anywhere. If you have the Hella or Philips, they are thicker, and may not fit under the headlight.
