Default Adjustment

not sure what year you have or what style of headlight, but it’s pretty easy to adjust. On the backside of the headlight, there are long stocks that stick out with a female Phillips side.(don’t know if it’s the correct terminology.) take a screw driver, and screw it clockwise or counterclockwise. It will adjust the headlight up/ down or left/right. There are two different stalks. One is up/down, one is left/right It’s very easy to do.

I am guessing you got the headlights adjusted.

A tip from a hard lesson I learned on my '99, when it comes time to replace the bulbs, it is easier to pull the entire headlight out of the car.
If you remove the marker light, the cover over the radiator, and several other screws holding the headlight in the car, you can remove the entire headlight. Then replace the bulbs on your workbench.
Each headlight will take maybe 5 minutes to remove once you learn what screws need to be removed.

I tried replacing the bulbs with the headlight in the car and fought with it for an hour before I discovered this.
