I am using your recommendations - and am pleasantly surprised how easy it has been to keep the car looking good after the wash and Meguiar's Ultimate Wax application.
Car was left out overnight in a hotel parking lot - I think it got sprayed with something and I had to tdo a full wash again - all OK.
But I got ambitious and bought a Griot Random Orbital Polisher Buffer - now am more confused than every.
It came with an orange pad - would I use this to apply the Mguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax and to buff it to a shine? Or just to apply it? Or use a different pad? Or not at all so long as the paint is in real good shape? (The buffer kit was on sale for $105 at Pep Boys - had to do the online purchase/store pickup to get that price)?

Thanks for you advice
Jay

I would suggest you look on YouTube for how to videos for your Griot buffer, I'm sure you can use your Mguiar's wax with it but I have never used a buffer. I have always done my wax by hand.

Here, here! ...ditto for using ceramic coating on the outside and Maguar's for interior (non-leather portion).

For leather, I went with a black interior this go 'round (2014 ES) because I hated the wear/stain/soil look of the light leather in my former car (2003 Acura TL Type-S). Now I have dust to deal with--that's the trade off and I knew that...but that's much easer to manage. As for the leather, I use Lexol Leather Conditioner. I know it is kind of on the low end but I've used it in both my cars and have had good results. In addition I do not use shampoo or cleaner since the conditioner does a good job of lifting most of the dirt. Since I have black leather, minor soiling isn't an issue.
