Be sure if arrow indicates vertical direction or direction of air flow.

I think thats the question?

In my ‘14 ES350, in which I’ve replaced the cabin filter about 5 times, the arrow indicates direction of airflow. Which in my determination is DOWN.

Ive used OEM, denso and some no-name from Amazon.

no discernible difference in air flow, at least not when new.
