Do they sell them outright for the same price? Like I said earlier, Lexus charged me 2x that. When I would get my oil changed their, it was never broken out. It just showed syn oil and filter ($95).

My guess is the filter price would be the same at the parts counter but I never ask. Im getting too lazy (and old) to do my own oil changes anymore

Check this out Mike: 3 filters for $16.95 = $5.65 each. Same part number you gave me - 04152-YZZA1. The "O" rings are included...

Frankly I would tell someone to shove off if they asked for a VIN number just to buy an oil filter. Invasion of Privacy and not information they need to sell a filter.
