So I attempted to replace the light bulb in the transmission selector. I touched the leads and heard a pop. This is a list of what does not work.
ABS and Brake lights are ON on the dash
HVAC and Stereo light are NOT on, but HVAC and Stereo do operate (just can't see anything at night)
Power windows do not work (sunroof does)
Car will not upshift, will not shift out of first gear
Spedo does not work (assuming the odo doesn't either, but haven't driven enough to check)
DRL and Automatic headlights do not work, have to turn to the ON position
Glove box light out

Cig lighter works, heated seats work, rear view mirror works, taillights work, interior door/dome/trunk lights taillights work. Power mirrors work, dimmer works, power seats work. I am really stumped here and if I can't figure it out then keep an eye out for many ES 300 parts.
