Default tyre pressure sensor warning

hi all, just seeking if anyone have this issue before, recently replaced the tyres on the ES350 and damaged 1 of the tyre pressure sensors, got it replaced and refitted into the tyres. however now still throws a warning light on the dash. and the scan tool diagnoses it shows 5 sensors in the car including the spare... anyone know if there's a fix/ reset for this or need to bring back to the dealership to sort?

I don't know what year your ES is but they haven't had full size spare tires with sensors for a few years - so my first thought was that when they replaced the TPMS sensor they may have left the old one in the trunk or something. If that is not a possibility then you may have to visit your dealer to straighten this out.

The OP does not appear to be in the US. I believe that the ES can come with a full-size spare, either as standard or as an option, in some non-US markets.

Yes, I noticed that after I posted my theory. And I still wish we were offered full-size spares.

The OP has an RCF. The question probably belongs in the Car Chat forum, though. If it was me, I would definitely take the car back to the place that replaced the sensor.

Well, I have a full sized 17" spare and it comes with a TPMS sensor. The TPMS display also shows 5 figures including the one in the trunk. Presumably they have the necessary wiring in the spare wheel well.
