Es350 2017 crafted line question
ah ok thank you for explaining this to me
i always liked the ES because it was base line lexus with luxury and comfort im not into speed when i was 16 i was always getting in trouble had my license supsnesed for being a stupid teenager with a vehcile that went fast and had **** load of power in my cadillacs and lincolns when i was a teenager
probably lost my license total of 6 times from 16 to 22 ever since then i decided to stick with base model luxury no thrill no need for supper power thats going to get me in trouble lol so i was a bit confused about the ES having special edditions like now i see you can get a ES-F-sport im like wow seriously just don't understand

This is the only correct statement about the crafted line! But I cannot find the color code for that white paint, which is different from the white of other 2015 Lexus'. It is not on the door and cannot find it online. It is NOT metallic or pearl so I'm not sure if 083 (which comes in two bottles) is correct. This is only for small touch ups and maybe any white will work, but I want to be sure.

crafted line on 2015 should have added a rear diffuser + dress the 2 exhaust ports, just like in 2016+.
Should have added blacked out headlights (not smoked, just the reflector part black).
maybe some side skirts.
they honestly added way too little to call it a "CRAFTED" line.

i'm honestly contemplating adding this rear diffuser and exhaust tips:

this would soooooo complete the look of the 13-15 ES models.
Currently my 2015 rear looks..........kind of...............barren.....empty, if you know what i mean

Yea I know, this looks really nice especially since you get the newer exhaust outlets. It's super cheap too so idk what kind of quality it will be. And if it comes painted or not. Idk if white or black would look better.
Can you share the make of the pans and where you got them? Have you used them and if so are you happy with the outcome? I have a couple of rock chips on the hood of my starfire pearl ES I would like to touch up.
They are paint scratch company. They have a website. And I have used them. But I'm sure an 8 year old could have done a similar job. I bought them a year ago so maybe that's why but one pen was kinda of bad, and overall I did a poor job doing some rock chips on my car, but its only noticeable up close. And honestly its not a show room car and it's better than having exposed metal so. Also I dont remembee how expensive it was but I dont recall it being too much. It's worth a shot but try it out as it's not for everyone(me).

My chips are not down to the metal so I will hold off on trying to touch them up.
Damn. Wish I would have checked that. I had about 20 spots on my front bumper and by the fog lights with bare metal showing and I wanted to at least cover them up. The paint pens weren't the best and I would probably do a better job second time around if I could. But I'd probably also just pay someone with more experience to do it. I'm happy there is no more bare metal showing though. As the poor job I did can always be sanded and recorrected
