Default Help locating LFM in ‘98 ES300

Found this thread trying to troubleshoot rear light problems in my 98 ES300. I’ve checked under the trunk side liners on both sides and still can”t locate the LFM. From looking up the part number, I think it should be a pink box with a tab that holds it to the structural bracket and will be in the space between the bracket and the fender. But, on the right side, there is absolutely nothing. On the left, there’s a wire harness connection and the fuel door release mechanism, but nothing else. I can’t figure out how I can be missing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found it. Driver’s side, attached to the front wall of the trunk, right behind where the rear seat passenger would sit. Opened it up hoping to find an obvious fault, but nothing jumps out. Ordered a used one off eBay - we’ll see if that cures my problem with the rear lights. I did notice that, with the module removed, the reverse gear indicator on the dash that had been on if the lights were on now functions normally, so there’s that...
