I would like to replace my trunk light. I found the exact replacement (Koito 12V3W) here for $9.99 + shipping -- (Koito 12V3W)

I also found LED style after-market bulbs here for $5 + shipping. These look great, but I can't seem to find any info if they will fit and function with my 2003 ES300
I was looking at the "DE3022 CAN Bus LED Bulb - 10 SMD LED Festoon - 31mm"

Has anybody had any experience with this?

 

I have an '01 Insight where I replaced every bulb (except for cluster) with LEDs. All of mine are Philips, and my cargo bulb is the same as yours (DE3021). Dunno about the one you're looking at, but the Philips 30mm LED that said it would fit required bending the contacts (was a little too big). Other than that, I've been extremely happy with the Philips offerings.

The simple answer would be to measure your bulbs but thats kind of a pain. What i do is i take them out, and have them sitting at the computer with me. I get all my LEDs from amazon and most sellers post an "actual size" photo for comparison.

every bulb in my ES is LED, but i didnt even know there was a trunk light. Mine must be burnt out. Off i go on the hunt!
