Default Stereo/BT - No sound?

We were driving home tonight listening to the radio, and the sound cut off. Everything appears to be functioning properly, but nothing happens when I turn the volume **** and there is no sound in any mode (AM/FM or bluetooth). I tried pulling the radio fuse under the dash (looked fine), and unplugged the battery for a few minutes - nothing. Any ideas? I think I'll check the amplifier next, does anybody know where it is located (I am assuming under the seat but haven't checked). Luxury package, no Mark Levison.

Thanks for any ideas!

Sounds like the amplifier. I recently had the same problem but I have a 2004 with the Mark Levinson system. Amplifier was in trunk. Out of warranty so I removed it and sent it to United Radio in Syracuse, NY for remanufacturing. $475. Great work and quick turnaround. Good luck.

I would suspect the amp as well. What year ES do you have?

2013 ES300h. To follow up, I pulled the amp out and cleaned the connections (there are two) and reinstalled. I pulled the driver chair out to clean under it since I was down in there, but you can actually pull the amp without pulling the chair by putting the seat all the way forward.

When I hooked it back up, everything worked. However, when I jiggle the wires (the small terminal, which I believe must be power), the amp will intermittently stop working.

I took it for a drive and everything worked fine, so I guess we will wait to see if we continue to have this problem before replacing/fixing the amp or trying to track the power wires for connectivity/grounding issues.
