Hi Club Lexus Form, I have 1996 ES300 with P0330 code to replace knock sensor. Can anyone in the forum please provide instruction on where to find the sensor and how to replace it.

 

it's located in the valley, well the both are (there's two), and if one's failed it might be best to do both.

it can also be a wiring issue, so it might pay to unplug the loom and re-connect it. or replace the harness.

 

Here's the directions I used when I did a knock sensor on my 99ES300. http://www.findonefindall.com/toyota...ock_sensor.htm It's for a Sienna but it's the same engine as yours. Might be better tutorials around but this one was pretty good.
