This is correct. After some digging, I've confirmed that an Enform subscription is required to remote start the 2016 ES 350 - even just using the key fob.

It's all a moot point, because after October of 2022 the Enform system will be terminated by Lexus for all 2013 to 2017 ES Lexus. Since the system Module works with 3G cellular and 3G will be terminated by all cell phone providers at the end of 2022. Lexus has no plans to replace the Module to 4G for these years. Actually very dissapoining on the part of Lexus.
