Default TMPS sensor

Using techstream software can I register a new tpms sensor, then have a tire place install it in the tire replacing the bad sensor then put the tire on the car and expect to work?? Or do I have to go through the whole process again?? Thanks Walt..... I did register a FOB and it worked beautifully..

As long as you upload the sensor id to the car, it should be fine.

TMPS sensor-img_20160730_065444.jpgTMPS sensor-img_20160730_065145.jpgI agree whoever made that video did a fabulous job. I followed everything including the releasing of air from tires to determine which tire sensor was problematic. I then tried registering the tires but I didn't get a window asking which set of tires to use as in the video.I still registered he tires whithout that window just like in the video and when all four tires were registered i pressed next and then I got the message shown in the first pic and I dont know what to do. The second pic shows that the 4th tire sensor is a problem Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks
