Default Headlight assembly for an '05?

Hello! I'm pretty new to the forum, so I'm sure the info I need is here somewhere but I can't find it

The headlights on my ES are yellow and hideous, from the inside out. So I am going to get new ones! I just want a basic assembly where I can stick some regular, yellow bulbs in.

I am a little overwhelmed. Should I get an OEM assembly? I looked on RockAuto and they have non-HID headlights, left and right. They have "regular stock" for $110 a headlight, and "CAPA Certified" for about $170 a headlight.

What's the difference? CAPA certification does seem like not-bull****, but is "regular stock" going to be some mediocre part that's going to yellow on me in a year? Should I order OEM from Lexus (sounds expensive!!)?

Any help is appreciated I am a little lost!

Headlights usually haze from the outside. Try polishing or buffing your headlights first then apply some vinyl wrap to make it look clearer and protect it from rehazing.

Thanks speedkar9,

That looks great but your headlights look 100x clearer to start than mine do now. I've had them worked on by others and by me, and it only helps a tiny bit :-/

That's because I buffed them before laying the vinyl.

Also putting the vinyl on top makes them look clearer than they actually are. It blocks the glare and you can see right through the lens, so don't worry too much about getting the polishing job perfect.
