2001 ES300 - CEL &TRAC OFF lights are on- diag P0330-knock sensor code.

Trans. shifts into high gear one time only after driving and come to a complete stop. Turning engine off, restarting, resume driving will again shift into high gear only once, wont go further than 3rd gear. Help!

 

P0330 I believe points to knock sensor bank 1. It is quite a bit of work to get to your knock sensors so I would replace both and the connection wire to them.

Another possible cause is your o2 sensors are reading incorrectly. Those are much cheaper and easier to replace. If you have a obii adapter you can check your o2 sensors to see if they are working properly.

There may be a few other causes which I'm sure someone will chime in.
