i am looking at remote starts for my 2011 es. i noticed on the myLexus website they have the res+ remote start with smartphone integration. This remote start technology seems amazing in which it allows you to control the climate settings in your car from your smartphone inside your house. Is this compatible with our cars and if so how much does it cost? Im assuming its expensive just wondering how much over what it cost to get one at the local car stereo place..

 

Friend of mine had this installed on his RX... I think it's 40-50$ a year plus $450 or so up front.... Dealership wanted $600 on my CPO, I just put in the basic one way remote start kit @ $300.

 

I'd also like to know if this is possible on the 2010+ ES with Lexus Enform.
